everyone.net Mail Server Info
Every account comes with email manged by everyone.net. Each mailbox can have it's own aliases; there is no limit to the number of aliases you can have. For example, joe@yourcomany.com can have two aliases: jsmith@yourcompany.com & smith@yourcompany.com. Notify us of any aliases you need by sending email to support@sbwh.com.
Each mailbox can be setup as a "POP3" mailbox, where you can send & receive email directly from our system using email software such as Microsoft Outlook Express, Mozilla Thunderbird, or Mac Mail, or you can simply forward all email to one of your existing email addresses.
In addition, you can check & send email from anywhere by going to your domain name on the web at http://mail.example.com (Note: Replace "example.com" with your actual domain name.)
We also offer advanced email features on some plans, including IMAP & MAPI for full shared calendars and free/busy scheduling. [ top ]

Domain Name Registration
SBWH will register any .com, .net or .org domain name (up to 64 characters including the extension) for the amounts listed below. There is no additional hosting charge for aliased domains (eg. yourdomain.net, yourdomain.com).
I haven't registered my domain name yet. How do I do that?
You can register your .com, .net, or .org domain name with us. We use BulkRegister for our domain registration services and pass along our volume discounts to you. The fees for registration are $20 for 1 year, $35 for 2 years, and $75 for 5 years - a considerable savings over the standard Network Solutions fee of $35 per year. We also register any .info and .biz for $35 for 2 years.
I have already registered my domain name with another registrar. How can I transfer it to SBWH for hosting?
When you place an order on our online sign-up form, be sure to specify that you are requesting a TRANSFER and supply us with the name of the registrar and, if applicable, the account number/username and password/registry key. SBWH will contact your registrar and request the move of your domain to our servers. You should keep the service at the present site while waiting for your registrar to complete the transfer. We will provide you with all you need to mirror the site on our server. If your domain is currently being hosted as well, all email and web pages will still be accessed from your old site. Your registrar will process the move request according to their policy (which often involves sending an email message or template to the email address of the listed admin contact). Once the process has been completed, your registrar will update their records and visitors to your site will start to be directed to SBWH's servers.
All Internet providers must update their records (DNS tables) to reflect the new site's location. This is
called "propagation," which is usually completed in 72 hours, during which time visitors may be transferred to either site. At the end of the 72 hours, you should contact the previous host to have them delete the old domain from their records and update their DNS records.
FOR SITES REGISTERED WITH NETWORK SOLUTIONS:
It is very important that you use the same company name and address on the template as that which is on file at Network Solutions. If the company name differs, Network Solutions will treat the transfer as a delete/new (see below) and will not complete the transfer.
If the contact information for the domain is no longer current, you will need to prepare a fax on company
letterhead. Please see the Network Solutions page for details or contact us at support@sbwh.com for assistance.
In order to transfer a domain name from one organization to another, Network Solutions requires that the
original owner file a delete/new template. This template consists of two domain registration templates combined in one email. The first template deletes the registration of the original domain name, and the second re-registers the domain name using the new owner’s information. This request must be initiated by the original owner as they are the only ones with the authority to make such a modification.
How do I register a non-US domain name?
SBWH can serve foreign domain names, but you will be initially responsible for registering your domain name
with the proper local authority in your country. Here are the steps:
- Check with the agency in your country which manages domain names for registration procedures and get the proper form or template.
- Sign up for your new SBWH account here and in the Special Instructions Section, request the SBWH DNS server and IP information be sent to you. Complete the necessary information on your domain form or template and include your new IP address from SBWH. Many international NICs require that the account be open on our servers before they allow the name to be registered. In those cases, wait 24 hours after your account is opened before registering your domain name.

Why am I getting two bills for my domain?
Hosting fees are separate from the registration fees. SBWH bills you for the web hosting services based upon the plan you have chosen. In addition, you must pay a registrar (SBWH, Network Solutions, or another) for the rights to the domain name for a specified period of time. You can register a domain name without having it hosted. You cannot have a domain name hosted without having it registered.
What are some common registration problems I’m likely to encounter?
A common problem stems from outdated or invalid contact information. It’s important to keep the information for the contacts, especially the email addresses, up-to-date.
Another common problem encountered when using the Network Solutions' move template comes from using a different name on the template than that currently on file. Network Solutions will not allow a transfer if the organization name and address information does not match. For best results, copy the information directly from the WHOIS and paste it into the template form.
Please email noc@sbwh.com if you have any questions. [ top ]

Earn on Referrals SBWH will pay referrers $25 (USD) for every referral that results in a new shared hosting account. SBWH will also pay referrers $200 (USD) for every referral that results in a new dedicated server account.
As long as the new subscriber provides the referrer name or domain when signing up and maintains their account for at least 90 days, the referrer will earn cash or credit! It's that easy!
Credit will be applied to any account the referrer currently has with SBWH, as indicated, on the next billing cycle. For cash payment, a check will be sent to the referrer 90 days after the new account is set up. [ top ]

Search Engine Submission All search engines rank sites first by customers that pay them a lot of money every month, then by the search words and items listed on your web page. While many online services offer 500+ search engine submissions, there are really only 5 that make up the majority of search results. Below is a list for your convenience:

Using ASP Forms A common feature of a website is an input form that the public can fill out to send information to you. Click here to learn how to put interactive ASP email forms on your website. [ top ]

Choosing Mailbox Types A POP3 mailbox is used by mail programs like Outlook,
Eudora or Netscape Messenger to send and receive mail from your own domain
name. The advantage of using a POP3 mailbox is the mail you send comes from your
domain name (info@example.com), and not from a generic mailbox like joe@hotmail.com. Plus, you can use our web interface to check or send mail if you are away from
your own computer.
A forwarding mailbox sends all your mail to an existing
mailbox you already have setup. The advantage of using a forwarder is that all
your mail goes to one place, and you don't have to set up anything new on your
computer. [ top ]
